Zinc Recycling and Collection Program
We have been receiving some feedback from the diving companies who consistently work here at the marina that many old zincs are being disposed of improperly, by being thrown in the water and left to sit on the bottom. We do not want this to happen as it effects marine life and frankly, just isn’t the right way to dispose of them. With that being said, we are going to start collecting zincs so everyone can dispose of them in the proper way.
A zinc deposit bin will be located just West of the Alani Room by our Facilities shop. We ask that you please dispose of old zincs in that bin so we can recycle them, you can also call the office and our dock hands can come pick up old zincs at your slip.
