We are happy to be kicking off the Downtown Sailing Series with our 3rd Annual Regatta Fundraising Race benefitting the American Parkinson Disease Association (APDA) on Thursday, June 6th! We hope you will be able to join us as we help raise funds to pay for local support services, educational programs, exercise classes, resources, research, and more. Our goal this year is to raise $60,000 for the APDA and we have already raised $16,000!
This race is open to everybody, but we would greatly appreciate you registering your vessel to help add to our fundraising goal! Boat registration is $150 and goes directly to APDA. An IMPORTANT note: if you want to be in the running for our FREE moorage drawing in August, you must be a registered participant of the Regatta Fundraising Race for APDA!
Registration and fundraising is easy and can be a team effort for Skippers and their crews! The top 3 fundraising teams will receive recognition and prizes for their efforts and there will also be our famous prize bag drawing for everyone that participates in the race.
The race is followed by a fun after party. The celebration includes a live and silent, raffle prizes, secret treasure chest winner, live music, food, drinks, and a great night of raising money for a good cause!
